Howdy!

First, let me tell you that I am a terrible blogger. I have tried to do it in the past and invariably I get too busy and let it fall by the wayside. I tired just writting about myself and what I was thinking about at the time. Boring. Then I tried the whole "here's a tech article that is neat" thing, but that got to be time consuming and everyone else was doing that anyway. Then I decided that I wanted to get a little more organized. So Digg was for news stories that I found interesting and Del.icio.us was for bookmarks. But what about the random blog post on 1Up.com or my new interest in sharing certian articles from the bajillion RSS feeds that are aggrigated by Google Reader. That's not even going into the whole Twitter thing. So what do I do? My friends aren't going to go to 13 sites in order to get all caught up on what I'm up to. (Knowing my friends, they probably won't got to 1 site for that and this is all a big waste of time.) Hmmm... What to do?

The make-shift solution of the moment is to use Yahoo Pipes to combine all those places that have RSS feeds into one feed. Despite a few hicups, that seems to be the way to go for the time being. Now I have to find a way to display them all "pretty like" on a page. Oh, and did I mention that I am "MySpace/Facebook/whatever else the kids are into these days" averse? So if that is the solution, I don't think I want to do that. This is not about me. It's about what I am interested in. I don't think I have any sort of great insight into anything, just some thoughts on what I think is cool.

So what can you expect to see from me? Some stuff about video games, tech news, business news, links to sites I think are useful/fun, and occasional nostalgia. I'm thinking about doing a podcast but haven't found the niche that I am looking for, so that might show up too.

As for this particular blog, basically it is my spot for everything that doesn't really fit anywhere else. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks for reading and let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions.

Thanks,
DBN
